Policy Analyst, Open Markets
As a policy analyst for the Open Markets, Lina Khan researches the concentration of power in America’s political economy. She reports on agricultural, industrial, and financial markets, and the laws that shape them. She has written for The Washington Monthly, The New Republic, and Salon, and appeared on C-SPAN's Washington Journal and The Majority Report with Sam Seder.
Before joining New America, Lina reported on transparency legislation in India while on a journalism fellowship in Delhi. She graduated magna cum laude from Williams College, where she studied political theory and was editor of the Williams Record.
